In this podcast episode I talk about people who move to the UK for work but who only spend time socialising with other foreigners in the same situation as themselves. While this may be ’normal’ behaviour for the majority of people who move abroad to live and work in foreign countries, it does has its limitations in the long run. For example, it doesn’t give the people who do this the chance to speak and interact with many native speakers of English. Without social interaction with native speakers, a person’s speaking will never reach the highest of levels. So, if you don’t have enough native speaker contact in your life, what can you do about it?
