People with Asperger’s Syndrome have no empathy – is it true?

It is widely said that people with Asperger’s Syndrome are not capable of empathy. In this video I share my own personal perspective on empathy as a person with Asperger’s traits / right-brained Asperger’s Syndrome.

Empathy is the abilities to put oneself in the shoes of someone else to be able to feel their feelings. While I am able to put myself in the shoes of someone else, I do not experience an emotional gushing or outpouring from doing so.
